Methodology

How we compared them

Four things decide whether an agency works out, and none of them are on the homepage.

$

Price transparency

Agencies that publish rates respect your time. Ones that hide everything behind a discovery call are usually the expensive ones.

⏱

Turnaround under pressure

Every agency claims fast. The real question is what happens when your board meeting moves up by four days.

◎

In-house vs marketplace

An in-house team gives you the same designers each time. A marketplace gives you whoever's free — which shows up as inconsistency between decks.

✓

Industry fluency

A designer who's never seen an MLR review will slow your pharma deck down, however good their typography is.

The details on all 15

Pricing, turnaround, team model and who each agency actually suits.

02

BrightCarbon

Best for: scientifically or technically complex content
Project-based, typically four figures upward Turnaround: project-dependent In-house team UK, with US presence

BrightCarbon's differentiator is that their consultants understand the content, not just the design. For decks where the argument is technical — clinical data, engineering, scientific research — they'll push back on your structure, which is usually what the deck needed.

They also produce genuinely useful free material, which tells you something about how they think.

Watch out: not a volume shop. If you need forty decks a quarter, this isn't the model.
03

24Slides

Best for: high volume at low unit cost
From around $11/slide Turnaround: 24 hours upward In-house team Denmark, Indonesia, Mexico

The most established volume player. Published pricing, predictable output, and a large enough team to absorb big batches.

Watch out: consistency across a large deck can vary depending on who picks it up. Best for template-driven work rather than decks needing a strong single voice.
04

Superside

Best for: teams wanting presentations alongside all their other design
Subscription from ~$5,000/mo Turnaround: varies by plan Managed creative network

Superside isn't a presentation specialist — it's a broad design subscription that covers decks along with everything else. If your team also needs social, web and brand assets, consolidating makes sense.

Watch out: presentations are one service among many. You won't get the same depth as a specialist.
05

Duarte

Best for: keynotes and high-stakes storytelling
Premium; among the highest in the category Turnaround: project-based California

The best-known name in the category, with the strongest claim on presentation storytelling rather than slide production. If you're preparing a keynote where narrative structure is the whole job, they're the benchmark.

Watch out: priced accordingly, and not built for routine deck production.
06

Ethos3

Best for: presentation training as well as design
Project-based Nashville

Design plus coaching — useful when the presenter needs as much work as the slides.

07

SlideGenius

Best for: large corporate accounts wanting an end-to-end vendor
Project-based San Diego

Long-established, broad service range including video and animation. Good fit for enterprises wanting one vendor across formats.

08

16x9 Design

Best for: on-demand corporate work with a certified team
Project-based USA

Every designer Microsoft-certified in PowerPoint, which matters more than it sounds when your deck has to behave correctly on someone else's machine. Around half their business is long-term clients.

09

Hype Presentations

Best for: UK and European investor decks
Published on their pricing page Turnaround: from 24 hours Manchester (UK) · Brooklyn (US)

Strong on fundraising narrative, with clients that have collectively raised significant sums. Publishes pricing openly, which is rarer than it should be.

10

Slidebean

Best for: early-stage startups raising a seed or Series A
Tiered, from low four figures per deck Remote

Deep specialism in investor decks, with analysts as well as designers. If you're pre-Series B, they've seen your situation many times.

Watch out: narrower fit for corporate or sales work.
11

Waveup

Best for: institutional fundraising
Project-based, premium Remote

Design leads with investment banking and VC backgrounds. Where the deck needs to survive institutional-investor scrutiny, that background shows.

12

eSlide

Best for: large-volume corporate production
Project-based USA

Built for enterprise throughput with strong process discipline.

13

SketchDeck

Best for: design-ops style ongoing support
Subscription and project options USA

A managed design team model — useful for marketing teams needing steady output.

14

Stinson Design

Best for: brand-consistent corporate decks
Project-based Canada / US

Consistently visible in this category with solid corporate work.

15

Prezent

Best for: enterprise pharma and life sciences teams wanting software plus service
SaaS subscription USA

More platform than agency — an AI-assisted tool with services attached. Worth a look if your problem is hundreds of people making decks inconsistently, rather than one deck needing to be excellent.

What presentation design actually costs in 2026

Useful context before you shortlist. "A slide" means anything from a tidy-up to a custom-illustrated data visualization — make sure everyone you compare is pricing the same work.

RouteTypical cost
Freelancer$15–150 per slide
Specialist agency$150–300+ per slide
Full investor deck, agency-built$1,600–5,000+
Design subscription$600–5,000 per month
Decision guide

How to choose in ten minutes

One deck, high stakes, generous budget

Duarte, BrightCarbon or Waveup — depending on whether the challenge is narrative, technical or investor-facing.

Regular volume, needs to stay on-brand

A subscription: Slides IQ, SketchDeck or Superside.

Deadline this week

Check the rush column. Very few agencies genuinely turn work around inside 12 hours.

Regulated industry

Ask directly whether they've worked inside your approval process. A designer who's never seen an MLR review will cost you more in review cycles than they save in fees.

Confidential material

Confirm the NDA before any files move, and ask where files are stored.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much should I expect to pay for a professional presentation?

A straightforward redesign runs roughly $25–50 per slide with most agencies. A custom investor deck built from scratch typically lands between $1,600 and $5,000+ depending on slide count and complexity.

Is a subscription cheaper than paying per slide?

Usually, past about 60 slides a month. Below that, pay-as-you-go is more economical and you avoid committing.

How long does a presentation redesign take?

Standard turnaround across the industry is 3–5 business days. Some agencies offer 24-hour delivery; a small number, including Slides IQ, offer same-day rush.

Will I be able to edit the deck afterwards?

You should insist on it. Reputable agencies deliver fully editable native files with the master template intact. If an agency delivers flattened slides or won't hand over source files, walk away.

Do these agencies sign NDAs?

All the established ones will, and most will sign before receiving any files. If you're in pharma, finance or legal, ask about file storage and access controls too — not just the NDA.

The short version

There's no single "best" agency

There's the one that fits your deadline, your budget and your industry. If your challenge is volume, speed and consistency across a lot of decks, that's the problem we built Slides IQ to solve: published pricing from $10 a slide, 8-hour rush turnaround, and in-house designers who work inside regulated industries every day.

If your challenge is something else, one of the other fourteen above will serve you better — and we'd rather tell you that than take a project we're not right for.

Not sure which fits your deck?

Tell us what you're presenting and when, and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
